Meet Terri HAWKES

Terri HAWKES is not NOT a career politician. She is a strong, independent, non-partisan voice with connections across the political spectrum. Her only loyalty will be to the residents and businesses of University-Rosedale; she's not beholden to the Mayor, political party or special interest groups.

Terri is an active and lifelong community builder with deep roots in University-Rosedale. She lives and works here. Her successful international career has taken her around the world and back, and has taught her how to bring people together to find cost effective solutions and to get things done on tight timelines – skills sorely needed on Toronto City Council.

Having lived in other world-class cities in Canada and beyond Terri has seen what works and what doesn’t. She registered on day one -- to be the next City Councillor in University-Rosedale -- because she wants to make a difference. Terri has been knocking on doors for five months in all corners of the ward.  She has heard from the residents, businesses and stakeholders that liveability, affordability, mobility and, most important, safety are the issues that are paramount in people’s minds.
